ES, actually it is just the opposite. A silent minority out-voted a vocal majority.
(the number of people opposed to my staying was a huge shock to everyone– mostly because they never stepped forward, spoke up, or otherwise identified themselves or their grievances.)

Oh geez. I just read this. Months after the fact, I’m ashamed to say. I’m so sorry. I just…I don’t know what to say. What are you doing now? Do you get another placement somewhere else?
