Some of you might be planning a regular trip in the very near future.
C has just finished planning for that regular trip. (C isn’t coming this year. We are very sad.)
Anyway, just because she wasn’t traveling, doesn’t mean C was going to stop planning.

So, together, with some help from some friends, we have a RAFT ready to go.

If you want a copy, just let us know. (We’re not posting it this year.)

Also, for those who are wondering about that other event– it’ll be Friday at 8 pm.
(oops, misread our own secret plans…)
Location, as usual, to be determined. Invite only, again, as usual.
Want an invite, see C or contact him.

Secretive enough?

C&C went to see our second movie of the summer last night.

Our reaction? Meh.

Seriously. As in, “Wow, that was extremely underwhelming bordering on lame.”

Think of it as a cross between Tomb Raider (the game), The Princess Bride (without any of the humor), and the X-Files Movie.

In case we have not made ourselves perfectly clear, we are not recommending this movie.
Find something else more fun to do with your time and money.

P.S. C says, “Harrison Ford is a little too long in the tooth.”

The truth is often very under-appreciated.
Especially at work.

(The shirt for the day is. Mine is deep red.)

Sigh. There is healing to do. I’ll have to change my shirt.

A new song has been added to our soundtrack.

Closing Time by Semisonic

(yes, friends, that means what you think it means)
“Every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end….”

(might be a while before we post again)

Someone or some group of someones out there has it in for me.

I offer as proof: Iron Man

C&C went to see it on opening night.
Great movie.
Very funny.
Great special effects.
Good Story.
Robert Downy Jr. is perfect as Tony Stark.
One of the best super hero movies ever made!

(spoiler alert)

He gives away his secret identity.
To everyone.
(Something he doesn’t do until quite late in the comic book story arc.)

Why does he do this?
No reason I can think of– except someone out there hates me and wants to give me a brain aneurism.

What? You thought I was talking about something else? Don’t know what that could be…

Hello Friends and Fellow Fools,

C&C extend to all of you our deepest apologies for our prolonged absence. We sincerely hope that you have been filling your lives with fun in your own unique ways. We’d hate to think we were the sole source of fun and merriment in your lives.

Unfortunately, we had to take a break. Due to the circumstances of our existence these past months, we just haven’t had a lot of fun to bring. In fact, we’ve been pretty damn pooped. Fagged as the Brits are wont to say. We know, we know– that’s a selfish reason not to bring laughter to the masses, but there it is. Fortunately, the draining, daunting, sapping circumstances we have been in are coming to a pivotal point. We expect to be once more present in the virtual world after that day and hope to once more be a part of your weekly recommended dose of fun.

As a make-up gift for our absence, C&C have decided to share with you, our adoring fans and tolerant friends, the soundtrack of our lives (as they currently are.) If you know us and our life, these will make perfect sense. If not, well, they’ll still be amusing. Honest. (Would I lie to you? Yes? Well, I’m not… so there.)
